I bought this beautiful, classic dress from a consignment bridal store in Berkeley (San Francisco area). The dress was a sample in excellent condition, never worn or altered when I bought it and I ended up going with a different dress for my big day so it is still new, never worn and never altered. I paid $600 for it and it has only been taken out of the garment bag once (for the photos) since I bought it.
It is a classic sheath style with strapless rushed bodice. It is very figure flattering and the soft satin fabric gives it a very elegant and glamorous look/feel.
I am a street size 2-4 and 5ft tall. The dress was actually too big for me and needed to be taken in. This dress would be perfect for a street size 6-8 or even size 4 with alterations. The length is not too long for me so probably not a great dress for someone very tall. I would say 5' with tall shoes to 5'4'' with a lower heal.
I was in a last minute rush to find a great dress and I really loved the potential of this one but in the end I found a dress that fit my original vision and needed less alterations to fit my small stature.
Please let me know if you have any questions as I am happy to help find the right bride for this gem of a dress. :)
