I ended up not using the dress and never altered this beautiful gown.
This dress has an extra added on foot (12") that was added on for an additional charge and created by the designer prior to distribution.

This gown is unaltered and has been kept in its original wedding dress bag.
Kept in a cool, dark place to preserve its integirty.
